Here's a list of organizations that deal with the Irish language. Might be of use to learners or folk looking for more info. Please send any additions/corrections to me, jtm@ceantar.org.

(I) An Teanga Mharthanach
Publishes a quarterly newsletter and sponsors an annual Irish language debate. A list of Irish classes around the country and abroad is available from ATM.

(I) Conradh na Gaeilge / The Gaelic League
Conradh na Gaeilge was founded in 1893, with the goals of preserving Irish culture and promoting the Irish language. Various branches:

(I) Daltaí na Gaeilge
Daltaí na Gaeilge is a non-profit that runs Irish immersion classes in the Northeast.

(I) Gael-Linn
Based in Dublin, this non-profit organization promotes the Irish Language through many activities: it runs language courses for young and old throughout Ireland, publishes two newspapers for youngsters, and produces traditional music recordings (amongst other things!).
